1. Refund Eligibility

Due to the sensitive and controlled nature of laboratory research materials, refunds or replacements will only be considered where a product:

  • Arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect at the time of delivery

All claims must relate strictly to the condition of the product upon receipt.


2. Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of our products, Lab Ratz does not accept returns or offer refunds for:

  • Opened or used items
  • Products that have been improperly handled or stored after delivery
  • Orders where the customer has changed their mind
  • Orders delayed, seized, or rejected by customs or regulatory authorities

All sales are considered final unless they meet the eligibility criteria outlined above.


3. Refund Request Process

To request a refund or replacement, you must contact Lab Ratz within 7 days of delivery.

Requests must be submitted via email and include:

  • Order number
  • Clear description of the issue
  • Photographic evidence of the product and packaging upon arrival

Failure to provide sufficient information may result in delays or denial of the claim.


4. Assessment & Approval

All refund or replacement requests are subject to review. Lab Ratz reserves the right to:

  • Approve or deny claims at its sole discretion
  • Request additional information where required
  • Refuse claims that do not meet compliance or verification standards

5. Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the issue was caused directly by Lab Ratz (e.g. incorrect or damaged item supplied).

If a return is approved, instructions must be followed prior to sending any items back.


6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at checkout.

Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider. Lab Ratz is not responsible for delays caused by financial institutions.


7. Order Cancellations

Orders may only be cancelled prior to dispatch. Once an order has been shipped, it is no longer eligible for cancellation.


8. Delivery Issues & Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate shipping information
  • Monitoring tracking updates
  • Ensuring successful delivery or collection

Lab Ratz is not responsible for orders lost, delayed, or returned due to incorrect addresses or failure to collect shipments.
